Hi Bro n Sis,

I had been a type R Fan since (DC2,EK9,EP3,DC5) when i was Young,Now it a time for me to buy a FD2R. Went to Look for a CTR today.. I am fine with everythings But the only things is i had been quoted by Liberty $7k++ per annual(insurance) AIG did not 1 to quote me. I am so SHOCK so DISAPPOINTED about it and i told the agent i had to think about it..

I had a 5yrs driving exp and i am 26yrs old.. HAiz i was so happy LAst nite that i even dream of driving a CTR .. Now Sian1/2..

am a car dealer and new to the forum.. i am a big fan of best motoring and hot version.. saw the performance of the new CTR and i think it rocks.. i was able to shift the new cars for a little and was so happy.. lol.. my license is revoked but gonna get back soon.. i tihnk CTR is the car for me!!

since this forum belongs to all of us, i need u guys suggestions,

The mod team is thinking of changing from this forum to another forum that allows us more flexibility etc, adverts, thus attracting more revenue for bigger things like DnD, T-shirts, decals and the works

however one thing is that we are unable to transfer info from this forum to the new one, hence needing everyone to re-registered and all the infor in here will be gone....

so shall we migrate or remain?

Hi every1 i hav been on e mkt 4 a FD2R e past 3 wks. 1st Honda for me. Can any1 advice wich PI gives a gd deal. Hw's e car been treatin u guys so far? Any good? Other option is the Euro R, older model but appeals to me more in looks & decent performance from wat my frds tell me. Any comparisons?Currently drivin a 350z & nt gona give it up 4 e time being so i'll b gettin it as a wkend FD2R 1st then gona convert in a yrs time. Cheerios everyone.

Hey all, i'm just another proud new FD2R owner, although technically i'm only going to collect my car in 2 days time and i can't bloody wait!

Found this forum after lurking around on SHC for a while now, and i must say this has got a great forum atmosphere, really looking forward to getting to know you guys better.

As it is, the "poison" list is already growing in my head! First was the die-die must buy GruppeM, then the TODA exhaust, then... then...

Hello, I'm a newbie here. Am seriously thinking of a JDM CTR or Sti/Evo X.

Unfortunately, I can't get a test drive & can only rely on magazine reviews which almost all said it's a very hard ride more for track than daily driver.

Can some of you owners please share what's your real impression of this car? How does it handle? The gearshift, the suspension, the steering, the sound, the engine etc.

Can you live with it as a daily driver? How did it come up against your previous ...

Hardly go for meetups for good to see an active CTR forum!

I own a 2007 JDM CTR. Read about the recall. My PI has'nt send me any info on it yet but i didnt make any enquiry. However the problem didnt/ hasnt happened to me yet.

Chatted with a friend yesterday who just booked a unit from one of the PIs.

Apparently, Honda stopped offering blue. We are now left with Silver or White:

PS: Me thinks Honda may introduce more colour next to replace the blue.

Trustable workshop and services listing

Can i suggest if we could list down those workshop that is trustable and also their expertise in whichever services. It will be helpful to us and also we could do some price comparision over here.

E.g

- Workshop name

- Address

- Services (include parts, installation, mod)

- Price

Just my 2 cents ideal...haha so that CTR member will not ganna CON by those workshop out there.

dedicated folder for Track

I think largely because the Type R is a car built for track, we should have a folder for organising track events and discussing track related stuff, like how to take corners, racing lines, setup(camber, suspension height,dampening), etc etc.

A short intro to both designs - 5 different colours of "R" are used, representing 5 colors of type Rs (Red, white, black, blue and silver). The 5 digital number is your type R serial no. and last but not least, the website address is our forum.

i'm jack, married with 2 kids:D staying in the east & work in the west part of singapore.

Just got my blue ctr 1 week+ (mileage 900+ liao )and i have met up some of you at yishun ram during the last gathering. First time seeing so many ctr displaying and the interaction was great

Was driving vti-s previously and i'd started to love honda engine compared to my last 3 other cars (charade, ford, toyota). That's also the reason why i chosen ctr from the other 2 options ...
